Why Fast View exists
Fast View is the shared top layer for quick/transient browser UI. It keeps short interactions above the current page instead of routing the user to a full Settings screen.

Common panels
- Profile Switcher for quick search/switch/open actions.
- Notifications.
- Browser Update status and actions.
- Protection or other transient browser panels.
- Quick diagnostic/detail views where leaving the page would be unnecessary.

Browser Update in Fast View
The update toolbar icon opens Fast View. The panel shows Current and Latest versions, checking/loading state and release notes only when notes are actually available. Check now performs the real Main Server manifest check; there is no separate Refresh button.

Interaction rules
- Fast View stays above secondary views.
- Right-click/copy operations remain available where relevant.
- Close transient panels when finished instead of navigating away.
- Keep important diagnostic text selectable and copyable.
