Safe Browsing
Control unsafe-site protection plus custom URL and page-word rules.

Protection switches
Enable Safe Browsing turns the browser unsafe-site protection layer on or off.
Block public adult domains applies the browser public adult-domain list in addition to your own rules.
Blocked URL patterns
Add simple text, wildcard-like patterns or regular-expression text understood by the browser engine.
Each saved rule can match one or more unwanted destinations. Delete a rule when it is no longer required.
Keep rules specific enough to avoid blocking unrelated sites.
Blocked page words
Blocked page words can stop pages whose titles contain configured terms or expressions. This is useful when a domain cannot be predicted but the page title can be classified.
When troubleshooting
If a legitimate page is blocked, identify whether the match came from Safe Browsing, a custom URL pattern, a page-word rule or Blocking Engine.
Remove or narrow only the rule that caused the false positive rather than disabling all protection.
