Protection layers

  • Blocking Engine controls page resources.
  • Browser Permissions controls site access to sensitive browser capabilities.
  • Safe Browsing protects navigation to potentially unsafe destinations.
  • JavaScript policy controls normal site scripting and exceptions.
02

Profile privacy and identity

Privacy controls work alongside Profile isolation. A Profile keeps session/storage separate, while fingerprint, proxy, User Agent and permissions influence the environment exposed to sites.

03

Control Social Browser identity exposure

Normal websites should receive the browser identity configured for the Profile. Keep Profile identity, User Agent, fingerprint and network settings consistent so sites see the environment you intended.

04

Troubleshoot narrowly

  • Start from the protection/permission that relates to the failing feature.
  • Use exact logs/evidence where available.
  • Apply the narrowest exception.
  • Restore normal protection after temporary testing.
