Check now
Check now contacts the configured Main Server update endpoint, verifies the signed manifest and compares the announced version with the installed version. Local status refresh is automatic, so there is no separate Refresh button.

Release notes and installer state
Release notes appears only when the manifest contains text or a release-notes URL. An announced version can be shown even before its installer artifact is ready.
Downloading can be automatic when configured, but installing the update always requires explicit user approval.
